In Live betting on soccer, what does a Handicap bet mean?

In Live betting on Soccer, when a team is in the lead, we may offer what is known as a "Handicap" bet. This works a bit differently than in US sports. The Handicap indicates how much will be added to the score of each team at the end of the game.

For example, let’s say the current score in the game is:

Hafnarfjodur  2  –  Berserkir  1

And the following handicap bet is displayed:

We would be adding 0 points to the first team listed (Hafnarfjodur) and 1 point to the second team listed (Berserkir).

If the actual final outcome of the game was:

Hafnarfjodur  2  –  Berserkir  1

The handicap bet would be graded as the final score was Hafnarfjodur 2 – Berserkir 2, meaning the winning bet would be ‘Draw’.

However, if the final outcome of the game was:

Hafnarfjodur  3  –  Berserkir  1

The handicap bet would be graded as the final score was Hafnarfjodur 3 – Berserkir 2, meaning the winning bet would be ‘Hafnarfjodur’.

Lastly, if the final outcome was:

Hafnarfjodur  1  –  Berserkir  1

The handicap bet would be graded as the final score was Hafnarfjodur 1 – Berserkir 2, meaning the winning bet would be ‘Berserkir’.

In the event that the bet type was called “Handicap 2:0”, then 2 points will be added to the first team’s score and 0 points will be added to the second team’s score. And so on…
