In Live betting on soccer, what does a Handicap bet mean?

In Live betting on Soccer, when a team is in the lead, we may offer what’s know as a "Handicap" bet. This works a bit differently than in US sports, though. The Handicap indicates how much will be added to the score of each team at the end of the game.

For example, let’s say the current score in the game is

Croatia 1 – Germany 0

and the following Handicap bet is displayed:

We would be adding 0 points to the score of the first team listed (Croatia) and 1 point to the score of the second team listed (Germany).

So if the actual game finished

Croatia 1 – Germany 0

, then the handicap bet would be graded as if the final score was Croatia 1 – Germany 1, meaning that the winning bet would be "Draw".

However, if the actual game finished Croatia 3 – Germany 1, then the handicap bet would be graded as if it was

Croatia 3 – Germany 2

, making the winning bet "Croatia".

Consider also if the actual game finished Croatia 1 – Germany 1, then the handicap bet would be graded as

Croatia 1 – Germany 2

, which makes bets on "Germany" the winner.

In the event that the bet type was called “Handicap 2:0”, then 2 points will be added to the first team’s score and 0 points will be added to the second team’s score. And so on…
